1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Alogera platform, Telegram Mini App, or website (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must cease use of the Service immediately.

2. Description of Service

Alogera provides a technical automation tool for short-term rental hosts in Italy to facilitate guest reporting to the “Alloggiati Web” portal. Alogera is a software provider and is NOT a legal, tax, or hospitality consultant. The Service is designed to assist with, not replace, the Host’s legal obligations under Italian law (TULPS).

3. User Responsibilities (The “Human-in-the-Loop” Rule)

The User (hereinafter “the Host”) is solely and exclusively responsible for:

  • Manual Verification: You are strictly required to review and verify all data extracted via AI/OCR before final submission. Alogera is not liable for errors caused by blurry images or incorrect AI data extraction.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensuring all guests are reported within the timeframes mandated by Italian law.
  • Credential Security: Maintaining the confidentiality of your Telegram account and your government access credentials.
  • Identity Verification: Confirming the physical identity of guests against the documents provided before using the Service.
  • Telegram Chat Data: Photos, documents and messages you send to the Alogera bot also remain in your own Telegram chat history, which is outside Alogera’s control and is processed by Telegram under its own terms. You are solely responsible for deleting your guests’ personal data and identity document images from that chat. The easiest way is to turn on Telegram’s Auto-Delete for your chat with the bot (open the chat menu → Auto-Delete), so that messages and images are removed automatically after a day, a week or a month.

4. Data Processing & Security

  • Image Deletion: Identity document images are processed for OCR purposes and are deleted from Alogera’s systems immediately after the data extraction is completed. Images are never stored long-term by Alogera or shared with third parties. Copies you send through Telegram remain in your Telegram chat until you delete them (see Section 3).
  • Encryption: Sensitive government credentials (Username, Password, and WsKey) are encrypted using AES-256 standards to ensure maximum security.
  • Privacy: All data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy.

5. Free Trial, Subscription and Payments

  • Free Trial: New accounts receive a 14-day free trial period with full access to all features.
  • No Card Required: No credit card is required for the trial, and you will not be charged automatically when it ends. To keep using the Service after the trial, you subscribe to the annual plan.
  • Annual Plans Only: Alogera is sold only as annual subscription plans, billed per listing per year. There are no monthly plans. Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, our Merchant of Record.
  • No Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions do not renew automatically and you are never charged automatically. We notify you before your subscription period ends, and to continue using the Service you need to resubscribe.
  • Cancellation and No Refunds: Subscriptions may be canceled at any time. If you cancel, no refund is issued for the period already paid.
  • Scan Packs: Additional scan packs are optional purchases (1 token = 1 guest document scanned). Scan packs are non-refundable. Tokens do not expire and can be used for as long as you have an active subscription, including while it is paused. When a subscription expires, unused tokens are not refunded.
  • Low-Season Pause: You may pause your subscription as many times as you like, for a minimum of one day at a time and up to 90 days (about 3 months) per pause. While paused, the Service is suspended and your paid subscription period is frozen: the days you were paused are added to the end of your paid term, so you are not charged again during the pause and you do not lose paid time. Your unused scan tokens are preserved during a pause. When you resume, the Service and the remainder of your paid year continue. A pause is not a cancellation and does not give rise to a refund.
  • Changes: Alogera reserves the right to modify the trial, subscription or scan pack terms with prior notice.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Alogera shall not be liable for:

  • Fines, criminal charges, or sanctions resulting from the Host’s failure to report guests correctly or on time.
  • Technical downtime, maintenance, or errors of the official “Alloggiati Web” government portal.
  • Indirect damages or loss of income resulting from service interruptions or Telegram connectivity issues.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.
