1. Introduction and Data Controller

This Privacy Policy describes how Alogera (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data We Collect

To provide our intelligent compliance services, we collect:

  • Account Data: Telegram User ID, name, email address, and property details.
  • Government Credentials: Your Web Service Key (WsKey), Username, and Password for the “Alloggiati Web” portal. These are encrypted using AES-256 standards.
  • Guest Data (as a Data Processor): Full name, date of birth, place of birth, and ID document details as required by Italian law (TULPS).
  • Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage, and technical error logs for security and debugging.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Automated Compliance: To submit guest registrations to the Italian State Police (Alloggiati Web) on your behalf.
  • Secure OCR: To provide Optical Character Recognition for document scanning.
  • Service Maintenance: To communicate about your account, manage subscriptions via our payment partner (LemonSqueezy), and provide technical support.

4. Data Security and Processing

  • Location: All data is processed and stored on secure cloud infrastructure within the European Union (EU/EEA).
  • Immediate Deletion: Identity document images are processed for extraction and deleted immediately after data extraction is complete. Images are never stored long-term.
  • Encryption: All communications and sensitive credentials are encrypted using industry-standard protocols.

5. Data Retention

  • Account Data: Retained for the duration of your active account.
  • Guest Data: Retained only for the duration required by Italian law or as specified in your service plan (up to 5 years for Business users).
  • Credentials: Stored until you remove them from the Service or delete your account.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, or export your data.

Legal Note: By using Alogera, you (the Host) act as the Data Controller for your guests’ information, and Alogera acts as your Data Processor. You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to process your guests’ documents for police reporting.
